I made a new Tumblr a while ago & I figure you guys should know. I’m trying to be less obsessive with this one & so far I’ve succeeded. Here I am. Follow me if you’d like :)
Hope your lives are lovely.

Hello everyone :)
It’s late (or early, depending on your perspective) & I had a random urge to go look around Tumblr again. I kind of wanted to check in. My summer has continued very well — I traveled some & have done nothing of consequence for the rest :) College is to begin in about two weeks.
If you’re reading this, I really want to thank you for helping me to progress to this point. I found so much support, beauty, eloquence, & love here, & being part of such a community for a little while kept me hopeful during what was the most difficult portion of my life. I owe you all the deepest gratitude for that.
I hope everyone is doing well, & I hope that my Tumblr has helped you even a tiny bit as much as yours have helped me.
You are all so lovely. Take care.
Love,
Emma
After a lot of thought in my technology-free week at the beach, I’ve decided to stop use of my Tumblr account. I will leave my page up if you’d like to visit the archives or something & I will continue to answer e-mails if you wish to send them. I’ll miss everyone & the wonderful things you post. I’ll leave you with one of my absolute favorite quotes:
“You must write every single day of your life. You must lurk in libraries to sniff books like perfumes & wear books like hats upon your crazy heads. May you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. & out of that love, remake a world.”
—Ray Bradbury.
Stay lovely.
Emma
I won’t be on for a while—I’m going to the beach. Hope you have a totally freaking awesome week! :)
Matte Stephens is a truly amazing artist. His illustrations have a retro feel that I love and now he has created this paper owl sculpture that I just want to call my own!
